The Candlewood Inn is owned by the Elegant Banquets family of facilities that have proudly hosted weddings and events since the 1980’s. They also own three other venues in Connecticut including The Riverview, The Waterview and The Fox Hill Inn. Candlewood Inn hosts one wedding at a time, ensuring complete exclusivity for you and your guests on your wedding day. To help make planning your wedding as easy as possible, they provide a package that will ensure your wedding ceremony and reception are once in a lifetime experiences.
Their all inclusive wedding package includes a dedicated event planner for the duration of your wedding preparations and wedding day, plus, the use of their lakeside lawns for your ceremony, your own private bridal suite with bridal attendants, bar service, wine for the tables, champagne
toast, incredible culinary delights, a tiered wedding cake prepared by their pastry chefs, a choice of coordinated linen and napkins, seating and direction cards for your invitations, hurricane centrepieces and votive candles
There are also many ways to customize the wedding package to suit your needs with various options such as extra food stations, added time and more.
Wedding ceremonies take place on the expansive lawn, under the gorgeous archway overlooking the lake. This incredible setting makes for the perfect backdrop for any outdoor wedding with a stunning lake and hillside view.

Although the venue does not stipulate the price of their packages on their website, Wedding Wire has stated that the starting price for a wedding ceremony at the venue is from $600, however it is recommended that you contact the venue directly to confirm prices and costs for
your wedding day requirements.
To secure your date at this venue, $1000 deposit is payable to the venue at the time of signing the contract. For weddings booked within 12 months of the wedding date, a deposit payment of $2000 is required.
An operation charge of 20% is added to all charges incurred by the client which is used to offset operational expenses associated with executing your event. Please note this is not a gratuity payment. Should you wish to reward the staff with a gratuity payment, you can do so at your sole discretion.
The venue is fully committed to safe operating practices and protecting the health and safety of their staff and guests during this covid-19 pandemic crisis. They welcome visits to the venue and will continue to remain open for tours of the venue and other planned meetings.
