Stone Acres Farm is a historic working farm and wedding venue located in the coastal town of Stonington, Connecticut.  This 65 acre property was once a thriving dairy farm and has been passed down through generations stemming all the way back from Dr Charles Phelps who built the original Victorian Manor House back in 1765.

Weddings at Stone Acres Farm

Stone Acres Farm is a stunning and unique location which would be perfect for anybody wanting an elegant, yet rustic setting for their special day.

The venue can accommodate weddings from intimate gatherings to large scale events of up to 250 guests and offers an experienced and friendly wedding coordinator to help you plan and prepare for your big day.

Complimentary use of the Bridal Suite is available to you and your bridal party for use in the preparation for the ceremony.  These rooms are located in the stunning Victorian manor house which adds a great backdrop for your wedding preparation photographs.

Ceremony Locations

There are a number of stunning and unique ceremony locations at this wedding venue for you to host your outdoor wedding ceremony including the very special ornamental garden ceremony area which dates back to the 1800’s. This gorgeous garden area has incredible boxwood bushes which provide the perfect setting for your special garden wedding ceremony.

Another area available for you to both exchange your vows is in the formal garden setting area at Stone Acres Farm, with its own fish pond, rose arbors and an abundance of beautiful daffodils.  This area of the farm is sure to impress your guests.

Cocktail Reception

After the wedding ceremony, your guests will be invited to the historical croquet course where they will be able to relax and enjoy the freshly made cocktails and seasonal hors d’oeuvres prepared by our experienced chef.

Reception Venues

Tents & Marquees are available for you to use to host your elegant and rustic wedding reception, you can choose from a variety of areas in the vast manicured grounds at the venue.  

Chairs, tables and linen can also be hired.

If you have special furry friends that you would like to be involved in your wedding, this venue is pet-friendly so they are more than welcome to join you on your special day.

Pricing & Packages

Stone Acres Farm does not list their pricing or packages on their website, however WeddingWire has listed some costs for weddings at this venue on their website.

According to WeddingWire, there is a site fee payable in the region of $5000 to $8500 depending on whether your wedding is planned for off-peak or peak months in the year.

The ceremony site, bridal suite, and wedding coordinator are included in the site fees
