The venue is owned by the Tagliatela family and has won numerous awards over the years from prestigious companies such as The Knot and WeddingWire, and was the first Connecticut inn to be awarded and named a Certified Energy Hotel in 2007.

Their experienced wedding team will ensure your wedding day runs smoothly, and that everything you requested is available for you, and their talented chefs will create a custom menu using delicious locally produced ingredients.

This classic coastal location has been offering weddings and events for nearly 40 years. It is a true destination wedding venue and provides the perfect weekend getaway for you and your guests. With the picturesque backdrop of the Connecticut coastline, the sweeping views of Long Island Sound, and the unique character charm of Old Saybrook, You will be sure to love every moment of your special occasion.

Saybrook Point Resort & Spa offers two options for your wedding ceremony which include an intimate waterfront affair at Saybrook Point overlooking the marina at sunset or you can exchange your vows in a formal setting in the breathtaking Lighthouse Gallery.

There are 2 terrace rooms that cater for your cocktail reception or intimate event, The Compass Rose Terrace which overlooks the marina, and Beacon Terrace which is just outside the Lighthouse Gallery and has views of the marina and the lighthouse.

Wedding receptions are hosted in The Lighthouse Gallery which was completely remodeled and reimagined in 2019. This breathtaking event space which can accommodate up to 200 people is truly unique with its abundance of natural light, gorgeous views, elegant decor, impressive fireplace, and expansive windows overlooking the marina and lighthouse.

Your guests will get to enjoy a true vacation experience.
