Engagement Spotlight

Their backyard!

When Gene and Steph got in touch with me about their snowy backyard engagement shoot, I just knew it would be a lot of fun!  We spent an entire month just waiting for it to snow a lot so we could shoot in their backyard, which is perfect for photos in the snow, because it would be too tough having everyone drive out to a park plus it’s so personal and a great talking piece!  People would’ve never guessed it was in their backyard.  We also got champagne bottles, which made for some very fun photos!  We started our session with with some goofy walking photos to get the blood flowing, and to get comfortable in front of the camera which is a great way to start.

The weather was so sunny, which was perfect for photos. The couple looked totally gorgeous throughout the shoot. They wore their own light winter clothes – it was such a relaxed, casual session.

Gene and Steph met in Boston through some friends and got engaged all the way out in Italy!  It was a surprise proposal as they were overlooking the beautiful Venice boats and rivers.

Your shoot can take place anywhere you want – or I can suggest great places depending on what you love. Your session can be anything from a shoot where you or your partner proposed, to being in a Dave & Busters. My engagement shoots are very laid back, and a great opportunity to help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
